Brug Guitars

As a side project, Luthier Marcus van Engelen co-operates with sculptor Clementine van Maaren on a hybrid of guitars and art: Art Guitars. Underneath you can see a couple of their works, in the Island series.
Typical instruments of specific islands have been created in the shape of the islands themselves. They breathe the atmosphere of these islands. Although they are playable (and have been fitted with Shadow Pickups), the main function is as an object d'art.
